REFERRAL GROUP FOR OREGON THERAPISTS & COUNSELORS

A free space for Oregon clinicians to share and explore client referrals.

A closed referral group where verified Oregon-licensed and associate-level providers share referrals when a client isn’t a fit or they don’t have space, and take on ones that fit their openings.

Verified.

Each member submits documentation from their Oregon licensing board confirming an active license or associate registration. Our best effort to keep this a closed, private space for Oregon clinicians. Not clients, recruiters, vendors, or bots.

Closed.

Not a Facebook group. Not an email listserv. Posts stay inside the platform. Only accessible to clinicians who have been verified.

Free.

No monthly or annual fee. A completely free resource for Oregon mental health providers to share and explore client referrals.

Where things stand right now

The group is still forming.

We’re still new and growing. Activity is light right now as more clinicians come on board. We grow every time a new provider joins. We hope to become a helpful resource for Oregon mental health providers: a no-cost, verified space to share and explore client referrals.

Inside the group

What the client referral group actually looks like

It's a feed, not a form

A scrolling feed of posts, not a structured form. Familiar format, without the parts that make social media exhausting. No sponsored posts mixed in. No targeted ads based on what you've searched. No content from people who aren't in the group.

Post a referral

When a client isn't right for your practice, whether it's the wrong specialty, a full caseload, or a scheduling conflict, share the referral with the group. Other verified clinicians can respond directly when something fits their openings.

Browse when you have openings

As referrals get posted to the group, you'll be able to scroll and respond to ones that fit your openings. Comments stay attached to the post, so you can see what others are saying and whether the referral is still open. The more clinicians who join, the more activity the feed will see.

A focused space for referrals

We ask members to keep posts centered on client referral needs. An introductory post is always welcome, and after that we'd love for the group to stay focused on referrals rather than availability announcements or practice promotion.

Common questions about the referral group

Is the Oregon therapist referral group really free?

Yes. There’s no annual fee, no per-referral fee, or hidden fee.

How is this different from a Facebook group or listserv?

Posts stay inside the platform, not on social media. No sponsored posts or targeted ads based on what you’ve searched. We are not another venture capitol business. The Oregon Therapist was created by a local Oregon therapist.

Who verifies my license?

Our founder, an Oregon-licensed therapist, verifies every registration manually.

Can associates and registered interns join?

The group is open to fully licensed Oregon clinicians and registered associates. Registered interns and pre-associate trainees aren’t eligible yet.
