Who can join the directory?
The Oregon Therapist Directory is exclusively for verified mental health providers registered with the state of Oregon. To join you must hold a current active license.Â
 Eligible professionals include:
Licensed Psychologists
Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
And AssociatesÂ
Nurse Practitioners specializing in mental health

Only licensed mental health professionals and those with associate licenses are eligible for membership.
I am another type of professional not listed above, can I join?
At this time we are only adding mental health providers listed in the prior question. We are not adding providers who only have an NPI or QMHA or who are only CADC certified that are not able to provide an associate registration or license with the state of Oregon.Â
Can I join a provider group if I am a doctor or coach or other type of provider?
No, at this time we are only adding mental health providers listed above, that are registered with the state of Oregon. We do not provide advertising for coaches.Â
Can I provide my NPI instead of uploading a copy of my license documents?
No. You will not be granted permission to use our site if you do not provide a copy of your license. We ask for a copy of your license to help with verifying authenticity and that there is an active license when joining.
Are there different groups within the community?
Yes, by joining the paid community membership, you gain access to many other groups. Some group examples: seeking and renting office space, private pay practices, ethics, supervision.
Can anyone view the private community?
No, our provider community is a private group only accessible to mental health providers.
Even the free referral group will only be open to providers who have been verified.Â
