Acceptance Mental Health, LLC provides therapy for neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, primarily those with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and co-occurring mental health diagnoses.
Our approach is to strive to be neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally humble. The focus is on helping individuals and families learn tools to meet their own goals for emotional and mental wellbeing, not to change anyone or use behavioral modification to make someone more “normal.”

🎯 Position Summary
The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults, with a strong emphasis on working with neurodivergent populations.
This role is ideal for a clinician who:
Aligns with neurodiversity-affirming care
Values client autonomy over compliance-based approaches
Is comfortable working in a growing, evolving practice
🧩 Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
Provide individual therapy (children, teens, and/or adults)
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
Utilize evidence-based approaches to support emotional regulation and self-understanding
Support clients in navigating stress responses (fight, flight, freeze) in adaptive ways
Specialty Population Focus
Work with neurodivergent individuals, including:
Autism
ADHD
Intellectual disabilities
Support co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, Oregon state regulations, and payer requirements
Complete intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes
Collaboration
Participate in consultation as needed
Coordinate care with families, schools, or other providers when appropriate
Growth & Practice Development
Contribute to development of neurodiversity-affirming practices
Provide feedback on systems and workflows
Opportunity to develop clinical specialties over time
⚖️ Licensure & Supervision Requirements
Must hold an active, unrestricted license in the state of Oregon:
LCSW, CSWA, LPC, or LMFT
Clinical supervision is available ONLY for social workers (CSWA → LCSW track) under an approved LCSW supervisor within the agency
LPC and LMFT candidates requiring supervision must secure external supervision independently prior to hire

✅ Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, MFT, or related field
Active, unrestricted license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, CSWA, LPC, or LMFT)
Ability to provide independent clinical services
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with autism, ADHD, and/or IDD
Experience providing care to neurodivergent populations
Training in evidence-based modalities appropriate to the populations served
Experience with trauma-informed care
Willing to work in-person
Lived experience aligned with the populations served

⏰ Schedule & Compensation
Flexible scheduling (telehealth and/or in-person)
[Full-time – 25 client encounters/week/ Part-time – 15 client encounters/week]
Compensation
o CSWA starting: $60/hour
o 6 months if in good standing:65/hour with raises every 6 months
o Up to $75/hour – cap
o New Independently licensed $80/hour
§ Work up to $110/hour
